Wat tan hor (cantonese fried noodles)

Serves 2

600g rice noodle (hor fun/kueh tiow)
caramel sauce
soy sauce
white pepper
1 cup chicken stock (or quater chicken stock cube and 1 cup of water)
10-15 slices fish cake
10-15 slices chicken meat
6 prawn (shelled)
1 egg

green vege

4 cloves garlic minced
oil
3 tbs corn starch



Instructions


  1. Get a wok put 2 tbs of oil and heat to smoking point then add 2 cloves garlic for 30 sec then add rice noodles. well especially for those in packets fry until soft and seperated.


  2. add 3 tbs of soy sauce, 2 tbs of caramel sauce and a dash of pepper mix well


  3. transfer to plate


  4. add 2 tbs of oil and rest of garlic , fish cake ,chicken, and prawn fry until almost cook.. add the chicken stock and vege.


  5. get ready corn starch in 1/2 cup cold water stir well


  6. bring to the boil ,break egg into the wok and stir immedietly so that it wont clump up

  7. add cornstarch and bring to simmer then off heat.


  8. pour sauce on top of the fried rice noodle.


yEss.... mine has bacon in it!!.. :P
